What is embroidery?
The machine embroidery method is the art of recreating an image with threads. We first digitize the design so that our machines can understand what stitch patterns and colours to lay down. Once this step is complete the machine can begin to stitch and build up a finished piece.
Due to the nature of the process it can sometimes be particularly tricky when trying to replicate small, abstract typefaces and highly detailed images, so some artistic alterations may be required to get the best finish.
What's it Best for?
Embroidery is best for t-shirt logos, sports team logos and branded work uniforms.
Embroidery is most commonly used for sports and work garments due to it being one of the most durable decoration methods. High quality embroidery work is long lasting and can wash without fading.
Embroidery is most commonly used for polo-shirts, even in fashion, due to the higher perceived value of the branding.
